2021 Camps DO NOT include pick-up and drop-off at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

BRINGING YOUR OWN BIKE

You will have the best time if you have a dual suspension DH/freeride bike. The Whistler Mountain Bike Park is a serious playground which gives a beating to your bike and its components. If you decide to bring your own bike:

1. It’s Full Suspension

Full suspension bikes and disc brakes are highly recommended. We ride more than you can imagine, to get the most out of the camp the right equipment is very important.

                                                                                                                                                

2. It Works

Make sure your bike is in proper working order before you arrive to camp.

                                                                                                                                                

3. It’s Durable

Ensure you have a durable frame. Enduro bikes are suitable, but DH bikes are recommended for the bike park. X-country bikes are not suited to jumps and drops.

                                                                                                                                                

4. Check With Your Airline

Be sure to check with your airline for any bike handling restrictions.

THINGS TO BRING

WHAT TO BRING 2021 CAMP

1. Bike(s)

We rent full suspension bikes. Also, feel free to bring a hardtail/dj bike as well if you want to take advantage of the local pumptracks.

                                                                                                                                                           
3. Hydration packs

are highly recommended. It’s important to stay hydrated throughout the day. It’s also nice to have a place to carry your pads, sunscreen etc.

                                                                                                                                                

4. Full-face helmets

5. Knee pads

6. Swimsuit, sun block

Snacks, souviniers, etc.

SPENDING MONEY

Whistler has ATM machines and currency exchanges within walking distance of the hotel. You will require spending money for dinner and extra activities. Other considerations include:

Bike parts and maintenance

Snack breaks

Souvenirs

Movies

Q: WHAT DO I DO IF I RUN OUT OF MONEY?

SGC has no cash on hand but there is a Western Union just a few min walk from our hotel and you can have money sent there.
